I started my adventure with sewing a few years ago from sewing clothes. However, the longer I sew, the more I realize that the greatest fun for me is sewing mascots. I do not know if it is about my inner child who plays at the same time or about the joy they bring to the children. In the first place, of course to my daughter.
There is an annual charity fair at my daughter’s school before Christmas. Until now, it was a classic fair with stalls. Children and parents were selling they products there. I always sewed small things in large numbers: baubles, reindeer, Christmas trees. Now the fair had to move to the Internet and it took the form of an auction. I had to sew a few things, but those that are suitable for an auction. So they will be of greater value to someone.
The bear on the book cover is easy to sew. There are three sizes of patterns for teddy bears in the book. For me, the smallest teddy bear is the sweetest. The doll has a lot of details and it takes dozen hours to sew it, but the effect is worth it. Not only I liked the dolls and teddy bears, they earned over PLN 1,000 for charity at the auction.
