I promised that by creating another doll I would show more precisely how I make it. Sewing and taking photos greatly extends the process of creating a doll. However, I did take some working photos while I was making the doll’s hands. We start, of course, by redrawing the pattern onto a tricot glued with fleece. The fingers of the hand are not covered with fleece. We machine sew with a very short seam, 1.8 mm in my case. After sewing, cut the fabric very close to the seam, lubricate the joints between the fingers with fabric glue. When the glue dries, very carefully turn to the right side. We help ourselves with a sushi chopstick or a needle.
We prepare a hand skeleton from a creative wire. We twist the wire, giving the shape of the fingers. Model the inside of the hand using the dry felting method. Then we put the modeled skeleton of the hand inside the hand made of tricot. We fill with a silicone ball and insert a wooden bead with a diameter of 12 mm. We sew with blind stitch.
