I couldn’t tear myself away from modeling, I modeled four heads. I don’t know if I’ll make dolls from all of them, but I think three of them are very good. I’ve never sewed this way, there was always one head and one body. Now I have to sew three bodies. This way the work goes a little faster, but unfortunately you have to wait longer for those motivating “wow” after the doll is finished. So far I have managed to sew 6 hands, 4 legs and 2 torso. One body is completely sewn together.

It’s not really just sewing, but cutting, flipping, wire construction and stuffing. There is probably the least sewing here. The most difficult thing is with the fingers on the doll’s hands, because if one breaks while turning over to the other side, the whole handle goes to the basket. I sewed seven hands and one was thrown away. It’s still a great result.

I think a red-hair doll with blue eyes will be the first to sew. I associated red-haired girls with green eyes. After showing the pictures of Anne of Green Gables, several mums wrote to me. They have red-haired daughters with blue eyes. I thought, why not sew such a girl, only completely modern, not stylized, or maybe styled to be cool and tomboy. Now I don’t know yet, because it always turns out when the head gets a body and hair. Then I do her hairstyle and decide which outfit it fits. I hope you will like the blue-eyed redheaded doll.
