I sewed this Angel for my mother. Mom is interested in what I sew. She talks to me about what I have recently sewed, asks me to send her pictures of the dolls. I thought maybe my mother didn’t dare to say, but she would like to get a doll from me. I started to wonder what kind of doll would make my mother happy and I immediately thought about the Angel. Angels are so universal and we associate them with something good.
If I was sewing an Angel for myself, it would probably be a little less sweet. All the time I was thinking about my mother and what she would like. I think she will like such a classic sweet Angel. I chose the prettiest face, long blonde hair, light fabric for the dress. I thought that a heart and a wreath would be a nice addition. I wanted everything to be delicate and polished. Sewing it gave me a lot of fun and I hope it will also make my mother happy.
