When I was wondering what next doll to sew, the series “Wednesday” was watched in our house. My daughter really enjoyed this series. Anyway, we all got involved in watching it, including me and my husband. I thought it would be fun to sew a Wednesday. When I said that, my daughter said that Wednesday is all the rage right now. On all social media, people post Wednesday dancing videos. She showed them to me and we had a lot of fun watching them. The daughter is not the Wednesday type, she is more like the TV series Enid. She laughed and said that if I was going to sew Wednesday, I had to sew Enid as well.
I started watching this series under a different account. I watched the main characters, their faces, hair, how they dress. I was looking for clothes that would characterize them the most. After a few hours of watching, I realized that there are no better and more characteristic clothes than those from the ball. Enid is in a white sequin dress and Wednesday is in a black ruffled dress. I printed out a picture of Wednesday and Enid, measured the distances between the eyes, nose and mouth. On this basis, I modeled the heads of the dolls. As for the bodies, both are identical.
I sew them in parallel, both at the same time. One day I sewed their bodies, the next day I painted their bodies, faces and nails. Next I sewed pink hair to one and black hair to the other. Now they are ready. They are waiting for their dresses. Enid already has a T-shirt and tights. She’s waiting for the dress. When I finish making clothes for Enid, I’ll start sewing Wednesday’s dress. Finally, I will sew shoes for both girls. I hope they will look nice.
