I thought for a long time about making a doll similar to Pippi Langstrumpf from Astrid Lindgren’s book. I put it off, but I knew that someday it would be her turn. She was a character in my favorite childhood books and movies. The kind of bully that all the kids adored.
Like all dolls, it is entirely made by me. I like making doll faces. Sewing, dry felting and painting are the most creative stages of creating a doll. When hair is added, it is very easy to imagine what the doll will look like.
Pippi is a very colorful, characteristic doll. You can’t confuse her with any other character. Red braids, freckles and a captivating smile. I hope you like her.
