Welcome to my magical world of dolls.
It’s great to put your soul into a piece of fabric. I’ve always liked sewing, but doll making cannot be compared to anything else. You start modelling the head and a vision of the doll is starting to emerge. You paint it, sew the hair on and your vision takes shape. When she is standing dressed in front of you, you feel as if you’ve actually given her a piece of yourself.
I love sewing collector dolls the most. They have wire reinforcements in the arms and legs. They are not suitable for active play by small children. They can be a beautiful room decoration or a friend of an older child. Depending on the accessories, creating such a doll takes me from 50 to 80 hours.
